Antoni Falat

ANTONI FAŁAT. Painter and graphic artist. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1993 he founded the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. In his paintings he often refers to old family portraits. He creates compositions presenting people in slightly comic yet casual situation of everyday (...). The impression of unnaturalness is deepened by strong contrasts of colors. Fałat’s art, related with the movement of ‘new figuration’, is also related closely to pop-art.
