Jerzy W. Bielecki

Jerzy W. Bielecki was born and grew up in Poland. He and his wife, Mira Smerek-Bielecka, are citizens of Olsztyn, the capital of the Warmia-Masuria Province in the northeastern part of the country.

He studied painting, graphics, drawing and illustration under the supervision of Edmund Piotrowicza in the Department of Fine Arts at the Copernicus University of Toruń.

Over the years he has exihibited his painting in his own country and in France, Germany, Czecholovakia, Greece, the United States, Russia, Sweden and Denmark. His artwork has been acquired by public institutions and private collectors in a number of countries.
