D. Andreadakis (b. 1964), acclaimed artist and professor at the University of Crete, 60 sets of paintings, oil paintings and watercolors, on the human form in all its aspects. It is basically a retrospective report, with projects throughout the 25-year artistic career, focused on the performance of face and body (portraits, figures in space, bare), gaze and expression of the human in various versions and different stylistic textures.

















Dimitris Andreadakis was born in 1964 in Chania, Crete.

He studied in the School of Fine Arts of Athens, under Dimitris Mytaras (1985-1991). From 1991 to 1996, he was a postgraduate student at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he was taught by P. Carron and V. Velickovic. During his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, he received scholarships from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation, the French Government, the Onassis Foundation and the Leventis Foundation.

Works by Dimitris Andreadakis can be found in the Koukoutsakis Gallery, the Frysira Vlassis Collection, the Stelios Bergeles Collection and numerous other private collections in Greece and other countries.
