Victor Kinus

"Victor Kinus is an accomplished  Russian painter who has created a considerable body of work with musical themes. His cubist inspired paintings contain intertwined elements of representationalism and symbolic abstraction that capture the multidimensional way in which we experience music. The listener watches the performer and hears with their ears, their hearts, their memory and their dreams all at the same time."




















Victor was born in Russia in 1957. He graduated from St. Petersburg Art Academy names after Muchina Victor Kinus Follows the traditions of Russia  silver century art and the traditions of the St. Petersburg Art School that are characterized by deep sense of tact.

The artist stands for vitality of figurative art natural image as the basic elements of the artistic transformable process. Colour and light in his landscapes and still life pictures are reflected in the breakable facets of volumes and flats forming a multi colourful integrity of picturesque images that are far from the dull everyday reality. A festive feeling, being the basis of his art, brings people the quietist, the happiness of meeting with the beauty extracted from the world changed by the artistic imagination of the artist.

Kinus works as a school teacher and a set painter at the Habina theatre, so art has always been the main deal of his life. The work for himself turned to be the creation for his people.

His inner sight has become sharper. The themes of Jerusalem, nature, and flowers, have occupied the dominating place in his pictures. The artist remains faithful to his way and dose not try to follow the modern tendencies or cruel laws of the market.

Kinus holds a Masters degree in Art; His works are to be found in private collections in Russia, Israel, Europe and U.S.A. He is also a member of the Israel Association of painters and sculptors.

Vistor Kinus nació en Rusia en 1957. Graduado de la Academia de Arte de San Petersburgo nombrada luego que Muchina Victor Kinas siguiera las tradiciones artísticas rusas Siglo de Plata y la tradición de la Escuela de arte de San Petersburgo que se caracterizan por el profundo sentido del tacto.

Entiende las bases artísticas de vitalidad de las imagines de la naturaleza artística de las figures como elementos base del proceso de transformación artística. Luz y color en sus paisajes y aún pinturas de vida son reflejados en las frágiles facetas de volúmenes y planos formando una todo colorido de imagines que se encuentran lejos de la embotada realidad de todos los días. Un festivo sentimiento, es la base de su arte, da a las personas tranquilidad, la alegría de encontrarse con la belleza extraída del mundo pero cambiada por la imaginación del artista.

Kinus ha trabajado como profesor y pintor de escenarios para el Teatro Habina, el arte ha sido siempre el principal asunto en su vida. El trabajo para él mismo pasó a ser la creación para su gente.

Su visión interna a llagado a agudizarse. Temas como Jerusalén, la naturaleza y las flores han ocupado un lugar preponderante en sus obras. El artista sigue siendo fiel a su trayectoria y no intenta seguir las nuevas tendencias modernas o las leyes crueles del mercado.

Kinus ha obtenido un Diploma de Maestro en Artes; sus trabajos pueden ser encontrados en colecciones privadas de Rusia, Israel, Europa y Estados Unidos. Es también miembro de la Asociación de Pintores y Escultores de Israel.
