Misha Borisoff Misha Borisoff was born in Moscow in 1950, the only child of Serge Borisoff who was a famous architect and professor at the prestigious Moscow High University of Art at Stroganov. Misha spent his childhood studying art books since the time he was 4 years old, learning what art was about - not so much its styles but its meaning. By 1967 he entered higher education at the High University of Art where he fine-tuned his brand of Russian cubism, relying heavily on luminescence. Misha started to work as an artist while he was still at the academy and he had his first exhibition in 1970 followed by a long succession of exhibitions in France, Romania, Estonia, Finland, Holland, Germany, and England.
