Veronica Casares Lee
Veronica Casares Lee began her formal study of art at the Houston High School for the Performing Arts while growing up in Texas.
She moved to New York City to study at the Pratt Institute and it was there that the ceramic body captured her interest as an ideal medium to combine form with her love of color.
She won a scholarship to study at the Anderson Ranch in Aspen Colorado and worked with Kurt Weisser using China Paints. Veronica and her husband, sculptor Pat Lee, are building an artist’s residence near the pyramids in Michocan, Mexico.
